At 4PM, we have a Counselling Unit (CU) made up of professional social workers and/or counsellors to help tackle issues related to children and youths. We hope to provide casework management support to the youths and their families who are referred to the Association through self referrals, school referrals and community referrals. 4PM casework management works within mentoring and therapeutic framework, coupled with appropriate community support.
Our casework management adopts a holistic approach whereby the professional social workers and counsellors not only work with the identified client, but also their family members. This means that CU undertake casework management of the clients whilst at the same time work towards and are links between the families, school and the community.
Case management in 4PM may involve one worker as a key worker for a particular client, or a team approach. The focus is on a strengthened service and support role for each individual service user, to ensure that a high quality service is received.
To empower the children and youths who are the building blocks of tomorrow’s society by focusing on strengths and creating new opportunities through case management and quality wrap around programmes
We accept walk in and call in clients within the office hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Alternatively, you can email your referrals to Mdm Zainon Haron at 6242 6288 or email email@example.com or fax 6242-0610. Do note that there will be counselors on standby daily to attend to your requests.
For cases referred, an initial intake assessment will be conducted prior to the clients being engaged in further casework and counselling sessions. This will ensure that clients needs will be met through the casework interventions or channeled to other community supports.
