P2R and YIA + is a peer mentoring scheme where students from Sec 1 up to Sec 5 are matched with a peer mentor, who provides positive guidance and role modeling to the students.
The programme also includes developmental components such as teambuilding, hip hop competitions, sports events, workshops and many more with a hope to inculcate positive inter and intra personal values to the students.
As part of a tripartite approach; parents and other community agencies are also actively engaged; from participating in parenting workshops to joint parent-child activities; so as to enhance family bonding with children.
In 2006, this project has reached out to about 200 mentees students from Sec 1 to Sec 5 and is managing about 100 mentors. There are currently 8 secondary schools participating in this project.
If you have the passion to guide someone and be a positive role model, we need your help as mentors to the students.
