PODz Initiation |

PODz is a mentoring scheme, supported by Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), that reaches out to youth leaving institutional care.
The primary objective of the project is to guide these youth towards achievement of their goals and helps them pursue meaningful lives.
In addition, it aims to build a strong network and support especially during the 1st year re-entry period to ensure that youths reintegrate successfully into the community
The scheme is dependant on strong pool of adult mentors that can be there for the youth and provide positive impact to their lives.
This project is only introduced in 2007. Some of the main components of the project include mentoring, community services project, team building events, workshops, group activities and many more.
